Every day after I get home from my classes, I usually find myself scrolling down Facebook reading some encouraging quotes that my friends share. Today, I clicked on one of the links that my friends had shared and I read it. After reading it, it made me feel more positive about situations in life.
It was talking about everything you go through in life. Nothing in your life will be perfect. Nothing will go how you planned it. You may not always have everything you wanted or dreamed of, but good news: God knows what is best.
But wait, let’s stop and think for a minute. Why are we here on this earth anyways? To party? To “live life to the fullest”? No. We aren’t. God put us on this earth for a purpose. We were put here to love God and show his love to others. Nothing else should matter. Things of this world are wonderful but they are temporary. God’s love lasts forever. Don’t be wasting your time trying to look perfect or find the perfect guy. God will give them to you in His time. Just love on everyone and spread the love of Christ. Everything will fall into place.
Now, I don’t know about you, but I, for one, am going to life the life God wants me to live.
When it’s over, leave. Don’t continue watering a dead flower.
